Average sale price change between 31 March 2022 and 30 June 2022
The average sale increase across the city over the previous three months was 2.1%, a smaller increase than last month. Furthermore, the very strong growth is now concentrated in the outskirts with many of the more central areas of the city showing little growth. This fits with anecdotal evidence that large parts of the market are cooling due to decreasing demand from buyers.
Average rental price change between 31 March 2022 and 30 June 2022
The average rental price across London has increased by 2.9% in the last three months, again slightly down on last month's figures. In contrast to sale price changes, rental prices are up across all areas of the city.
